Miss Teen International 2011 15-year old Adriana Paniagua, from Chinandega, Nicaragua, won the Miss Teen International beauty pageant held in San Jose, Costa Rica, on November 23rd. The 1st runner-up was Miss Teen Costa Rica (Josseling Porras) and the 2nd runner-up was Miss Teen Colombia (Sofia De las Piedras). Completing the Top 6 were the teens from Aruba (Michelle Mota), Puerto Rico (Rebeca Valentin) and Canada (Alexandra Janays). 14 beauties competed in the pageant.
Miss Teen Nicaragua also won the Best National Costume award.
The pageant, which is usually held in Costa Rica, has signed a contract with China for the next five years, explained Enrique Gonzalez, organizer; and it will be held in the asian country starting in 2012.
